Details of applicants with appropriate qualifications are retained for 12 months. During this period, applicants may be contacted for interviews or proficiency tests.
Applicants passing such preliminary tests will be informed and requested to attend an interview, usually within ten days. This procedure will result in a job offer within one month of the initial tests, should a suitable vacancy exist.

HSBC has a Training Centre staffed by training professionals. All new entrants will attend an induction course, which provides them with essential information about HSBC, its history, values, products and services.
We offer Staff Officer training programmes. Candidates selected as Customer Services Representatives will be given specialised Customer Services accreditation training.
Should suitable training courses not be available locally, staff may be required to attend training at HSBC’s Regional Training Centre in Dubai, or the Group Training Centre in the UK.
